Website terms versus service contract
These terms govern use of this website and estimate-request process. They are not a substitute for the signed Vortex Exterior Washing LLC Contractor Agreement or the accepted project estimate. The applicable accepted project documents govern work, fees, scheduling, cancellations, and other service-specific obligations. A proposed amendment does not modify an existing contract unless it has been properly accepted.
Website use
This website provides general information about Vortex Exterior Washing and a way to request estimates for residential and commercial exterior cleaning services in East Tennessee. You agree to provide accurate information and not misuse the website or upload unlawful content.
Estimate requests
Submitting a form is a request for an estimate, not a binding service order. Pricing, scope, surfaces, access requirements, materials, dates, and any special conditions must be confirmed by Vortex Exterior Washing. Photographs and online descriptions may not capture every condition relevant to a final quote.
Scheduling and service agreements
Work is scheduled only after Vortex confirms availability and the scope of work. Any accepted written estimate, work authorization, or separate service agreement will govern the specific project. If those documents conflict with this website description, the project-specific written terms control.
Surface conditions and cleaning results
Results depend on material type, age, condition, prior coatings, staining, and other site conditions. Some discoloration, wear, oxidation, and preexisting damage may remain after cleaning. We will discuss material limitations and special methods when relevant; no identical result is guaranteed for every surface.
Customer preparation and access
Customers may be asked to provide safe access to work areas, identify fragile items or known problem spots, secure pets, move vehicles or furniture, and make water or other utilities available if agreed in the estimate. Project-specific preparation requirements will be communicated before service.
Payment and invoices
Vortex generally collects payment after completion of the agreed work, unless a different payment arrangement is documented in an accepted estimate or service agreement. The accepted agreement controls applicable invoice due dates, late-payment charges, and any discretionary waiver. Any additional services or changes to the agreed scope must be approved before they are billed.
Deposits for special projects
Some jobs involving special-order materials, equipment rentals, or other substantial advance expenses may require a deposit. The amount, purpose, payment schedule, and refund conditions are specified in the written terms accepted for that project. This website does not independently impose a deposit or alter any existing accepted contract.
Cancellations and rescheduling
The current Vortex Contractor Agreement calls for at least 72 hours’ notice when canceling scheduled work and provides for a $150 fee for cancellations within that notice period, subject to the agreement's terms and applicable law. Weather or safety-related rescheduling by Vortex is handled under the applicable service agreement. Customers should notify Vortex directly if they need to change an appointment.
Late payments
The service agreement provides the applicable payment deadlines and may allow a 7% late-payment fee under specified circumstances, to the extent permitted by law. Vortex may waive or reduce an applicable fee on an individual invoice at its discretion; any waiver does not automatically waive future fees. This website does not itself impose a separate late fee.
Project photography and marketing
Vortex may photograph or record exterior work before, during, and after service. Its Contractor Agreement contains a general authorization to use project photographs and videos, including before-and-after results, in advertising, website portfolios, and social media. Vortex makes reasonable efforts to avoid publishing personal details, visible addresses, license plates, or other identifying information. Use of identifiable images of people requires appropriate authorization. Please contact [email protected] with concerns about published images.
Communications
When you submit an inquiry, we may contact you about that inquiry or related services. Optional marketing messages require any consent mandated by law. You can opt out using the methods described in our Privacy Policy and in the messages.
Website content and links
Website photographs, text, and branding belong to their respective owners. Do not reproduce them without permission. Third-party links are supplied for convenience; their content and availability are outside our control.
Pre-existing conditions and cleaning limitations
Exterior cleaning can reveal or affect pre-existing deterioration, oxidation, failing coatings, damaged wood, loose mortar, and other vulnerable conditions. Results depend on the condition of each surface. The accepted Contractor Agreement contains the detailed customer-preparation, inspection, and surface-condition provisions. Nothing on this website eliminates responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Legal limitations
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Liability and dispute-resolution terms for paid work, if any, should appear in a separately reviewed project agreement rather than being assumed from this website.
